Right, so I just got back from seeing New Moon.
And I may have just died a little on the inside.

My mom believes that I /like/ Twilight, and her friend likes it too, and her friend is so nice and I just.... can't say that I don't like it. So I was dragged to New Moon. While pretending to like it. -_-

Bella. Is. So. Stupid. Antifeminism was dripping from everything she did. –majoreyerollsighofdoom-

Edward. Is. A GINOURMOUS FUCKING GARY-SUE. I mean, as much as I really don’t care on the matter, I was kind of rooting for Jacob. –eyetwitch-

Jacob…wasn’t so bad actually. His face looked a little disproportional with long hair, but other than that, Jacob’s character and the actor were okay.

Charlie was, once again, one of the highlights in the movie for me. He is made of win. xDD

The entire movie though, was full of angst, shot with really bad camera angles (I DON’TNEED TO BE FIVE INCHES FROM EVERYBODY’S FACE ALL THE TIME) and they cut the only parts I was looking forward to. -_- Is it so hard to just include good parts of the books in the movies once in awhile? Really?
But I digress.

Okay. My favorite thing.
THE WEREWOLVES. WERE SERIOUSLY BADASS.
SERIOUSLY.
They looked really cool. The special effects on them were awesome. There was only one questionable part (Sam as a wolf, the first time you see him. It looks almost animatronic.) But other than that…. Just… wow. –shuts up now-

OMFG. I was watching Mike hit on Bella (the only somewhat funny part in the movie that didn’t involve Charlie, I swear.) and I was staring at his face, going… who does that remind me of? And then it hit me and I think I gasped out loud. RICHARD SPEIGHT JR. I… don’t know why but… he just... reminded me of him. And it scared me that a movie so horrible could remind of a guy so awesome. –scarred now-

The two scenes that I was looking forward to most (excluding the werewolves, of course) were left out: the scene where Jacob forcibly kisses Bella, and she breaks her hand over his face (don’t ask me why I was looking forward to this. I just.. was) And at the very end where Charlie finds the motorcycles and almost has a hernia yelling at Bella over them…. >3333333 Gawd, I wish they’d shown that.

Okay, so. If you’re absolutely bent on not seeing it, but are being forced to, there are three things that make the movie bearable (in other words, why I didn’t hang myself from the ceiling beams in the middle of the movie)
1. Charlie. He was awesome once again. They really didn’t show him as much as they should have though. It kind of made me mad.
2. Carlisle. Again, the actor who plays him is just, right on. His facial expressions, subtle movements, everything, were fantastic. Just like Charlie though, they didn’t show hardly any of him (only two scenes I think).
3. And of course the werewolves. See above. xDD
